When is the last day to register?

The last day to register for High School Diploma classes is Feb. 2, 2018. Registration for Community Education classes continues until either the first day of class OR the maximum enrollment is met/the class is full. Please contact the office at 209-667-0643 for information on other programs.

Do I have to take a test before I enroll?

Students enrolling in Career Technical Education or Community Education classes DO NOT need to take the CASAS test. All other students are required to take both a pre- and a post-test each year. Please contact the office for further information.

When can I take the CASAS test?

Beginning January 10th, CASAS testing will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Please contact the office to schedule a testing appointment.

Can I register online?

Students can register online for classes in the Career Technical Education and Community Education programs (pages 17-23) only. For all other programs, students must register in the TAS office at 1574 E. Canal Drive.

Can I register by phone?

No, we cannot take registrations over the phone.

No, please wait until someone from the TAS office has contacted you before attending.

How much do classes cost?

Classes on pages 9-18 of this catalog are offered free of charge. Costs for all other classes are listed in their course description.

How old do I have to be to attend Turlock Adult School?

Students attending TAS must be at least 18 years of age. Emancipated minors/teen parents may enroll in the High School Diploma program if they are under 18 and not able to attend a traditional diploma program.

What is your refund policy?

NO REFUNDS will be given unless a class is cancelled by Turlock Adult School. In certain circumstances, a voucher for the price of the class—minus a $15 processing fee—may be issued. Textbooks and online registration fees are not refundable, so please plan carefully.
