A Note about CNA Classes

Turlock Adult School does not have a CNA program at this time. Unfortunately, many websites, which make money by getting people to click on their links, show that we do. They publish incorrect information and simply change the date each year. One way to spot these websites is to look at some of the other info they publish; for example, several have our address listed as 1564 Canal Drive, an address that does not even exist.

We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this situation may have caused. Please be assured that if we do offer a CNA program again we will promote it heavily on our website and elsewhere. Please call 209-667-0643 for more information.

DACA Information

On September 5, 2017 President Trump ordered an end to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. No first-time applications submitted after this date will be processed. The final submission date for application renewals for DACA recipients whose permits expire between September 5, 2017 and March 5, 2018 is October 5, 2017. CELA encourages all eligible DACA renewal recipients to submit their paperwork on time. All DACA statuses and work permits will remain valid until their expiration dates.

California is both sustained and enriched by immigrants – many of whom are parents of our P-12 students or are students themselves. The California Equity Leadership Alliance (CELA) – an equity-minded, action-oriented group committed to the educational success of all California students – is committed to supporting DACA recipients and their families.

There are 230,000 DACA recipients who reside in California. With the October 5, 2017 deadline for DACA renewals quickly approaching, CELA is offering resources for finding application assistance and information on financial assistance for applicants who need to renew their DACA status before the deadline. Find these tools at //acsa.org/undocumented.
